Darius and Parysatis had two sons born to them , of whom the elder was Artaxerxes and the younger Cyrus . 1 Now when Darius lay sick and suspected that the end of his life was near , he wished to have both his sons with him . [ 2 ] The elder , as it chanced , was with him already ; but Cyrus he summoned from the province over which he had made him satrap , and he had also appointed him commander of all the forces that muster in the plain of Castolus . 2 Cyrus accordingly went up3 to his father , taking with him Tissaphernes as a friend and accompanied by three hundred Greek hoplites , 4 under the command of Xenias of Parrhasia .

If this victory will rest here without harm . But , whether being my sister or more near akin to me than all ( who ) worship Zeus , at the altar of the house . This woman and her sister will not escape a doom most harsh . And for thus , I charge this woman equal to have plotted ( of this burial ) . Call her out ! I saw her inside just now , raving , not yet having reacted being high-minded . But before the mind is apt to be convicted of treason , when ( conspirators ) are truly plotting in the dark . indeed , i hate whenever someone caught in badness then is willing to pride himself in this thing .
Antigone : are you willing for something bigger than capturing me , to kill me ?
Creon : then ( I want ) nothing : having that , I have everything .
Antigone : Certainly , why do you delay ? There is nothing concerning your stories that might have once been pleasing to me
