Lesson 8 English
ἤθροιζες λίθους παρὰ τὸν ποταμόν ;

But we were sending the guard to the side of the brother
The army was in the village and was seizing the provisions
For some were fleeing from the market in outcry , but others were guarding the tents in silence
The leaders used to have small villages
The gifts were beautiful , but small
The works of the barbarians were beautiful , but the words were friendly
The army was friendly to the country
They guard the provisions for ten days
On account of the treaty we do not wish to destroy the village
The garrison flees ten stades
There were provisions in the tent
