ἄλλο τι οὖν , ἔφη , καὶ σὺ οὕτω ποιήσεις : ὧν ἐγὼ ἀπεῖπον , τούτων τι ἀποκρινῇ ;

τί ἄλλο , ἦν δ᾽ ἐγώ , ἢ ὅπερ προσήκει πάσχειν τῷ μὴ εἰδότι ; προσήκει δέ που μαθεῖν παρὰ τοῦ εἰδότος : καὶ ἐγὼ οὖν τοῦτο ἀξιῶ παθεῖν .
