ὅτι πάντες εἰσὶ πλούσιοι · καίτοι τότε , ὅτ᾽ εἶχον οὐδέν , ὁ μὲν ἂν ἥκων ἔμπορος ἔθυσεν ἱερεῖόν τι σωθείς , ὁ δέ τις ἂν δίκην ἀποφυγών , ὁ δ᾽ ἂν ἐκαλλιερεῖτό τις κἀμέ γ᾽ ἐκάλει τὸν ἱερέα · νῦν δ᾽ οὐδὲ εἷς θύει τὸ παράπαν οὐδὲν οὐδ᾽ εἰσέρχεται , πλὴν ἀποπατησόμενοί γε πλεῖν ἢ μύριοι .
