Mellitos oculos tuos , Iuventi ,
si quis me sinat usque basiare ,
usque ad milia basiem trecenta
nec numquam videar satur futurus ,
non si densior aridis aristis
sit nostrae seges osculationis .
Juventius , if anyone allows me to continuously kiss your honey-sweet eyes , then I will kiss up to three hundred thousand times and it seems I will never be saturated , should not the kissing of our dry harvest be denser than the grain
Iuventius , if I were always allowed
to kiss your honey-sweet eyes ,
I might kiss you three hundred
thousand times , and never be sated ,
not even if my kisses were more
than the crop’s ripe ears of wheat .
