νῦν , ὥσπερ ἡμεῖς ἐπὶ τὰς χρείας καὶ θρησκείας τῶν θεῶν σπουδάζομεν καὶ τῶν θεῶν κτίσμα ἐσμὲν καὶ εἰς βοήθιαν τῶν θεῶν ταῦτα πάντα τὰ ἔθνη ἐζητήσαμεν καὶ κατέσχαμεν καὶ ὄνομα καὶ ἀνδρείαν ἐπεποιησάμεθα , κἀκεῖνος δέ , ὅστις μεθ’ ἡμᾶς ἔσται καὶ εὐτυχὴς ἔσται , κἀκεῖνος ἐπὶ τὰς χρείας καὶ θρησκείας τῶν θεῶν σπουδασάτω , ἵνα οἱ θεοὶ βοηθοὶ αὐτῷ ἔσονται καὶ δαστικιρτην ἑαυτῶν ποιήσονται .

As I now apply myself to affairs and the cult-business for the gods and am the ‘dastgerd’ of the gods , and as I with the help of the gods acquired and possess these so numerous lands , and acquired fame and bravery , [ in this way ] should whoever will come after me and will be successful apply themselves to affairs and the cult-business for the gods , so that the gods will be an aid [ to him ] and will make [ him ] their ‘dastgerd’
