English

Τὴν πανεύφημον νύμφην Χριστοῦ ὑμνήσωμεν ,
Αἰκατερίναν τὴν θείαν καὶ πολιοῦχον Σινᾶ ,
τὴν βοήθειαν ἡμῶν καὶ ἀντίληψιν ·
ὅτι ἐφίμωσε λαμπρῶς ,
τοὺς κομψοὺς τῶν ἀσεβῶν ,
τοῦ Πνεύματος τῇ δυνάμει ,
καὶ νῦν ὡς Μάρτυς στεφθεῖσα ,
αἰτεῖται πᾶσι τὸ μέγα ἔλεος .

We honour the blessed bride of Christ ,
the divine Katherine and the patron saint of Sinai ,
our helper and relief .
that she glows in splendour ,
the elegance of the righteousness ,
the strength of the Holy Spirit ,
and now crown as a martyr ,
we ask for her great mercy on behalf of all .
