the high priests and prophets and the priests who enter the sanctuary to conduct the robing of the gods and the scribes of the Sacred Books and the scribes of the House of Life and the other priests , having come from the temples of Egypt |5 [ to Memphis ] ( at ) the festival of the assumption of the supreme office by Pharaoh Ptolemy living forever , beloved of Ptah , the God who appears , whose goodness is perfect , from his father , having assembled in the temple of Memphis , saying :

The high priests and prophetai and those who enter the sanctuary for the robing |7 of the gods and the fanbearers and the sacred scribes and all the other priests , having come together from the temples throughout the land to the king at Memphis for the festival of the assumption of the |8 kingship by Ptolemy , everliving , beloved of Ptah , the god Epiphanes Eucharistos , which he inherited from his father , having assembled in the temple in Memphis on this day said :
