Σὲ δὴ τὰ δεινὰ ῥήματ᾽ ἀγγέλλουσί μοι
τλῆναι καθ᾽ ἡμῶν ὧδ᾽ ἀνοιμωκτὶ χανεῖν;
Σέ τοι , τὸν ἐκ τῆς αἰχμαλωτίδος λέγω ,
ἦ που τραφεὶς ἂν μητρὸς εὐγενοῦς ἄπο
ὑψήλ᾽ ἐκόμπεις κἀπ᾽ ἄκρων ὡδοιπόρεις ,
