σημεῖόν ἐστιν , οὗ μέρος οὐθέν .

γραμμὴ δὲ μῆκος ἀπλατές .

γραμμῆς δὲ πέρατα σημεῖα .

εὐθεῖα γραμμή ἐστιν , ἥτις ἐξ ἴσου τοῖς ἐφ᾽ ἑαυτῆς σημείοις κεῖται .

ἐπιφάνεια δέ ἐστιν , ὃ μῆκος καὶ πλάτος μόνον ἔχει .

ἐπιφανείας δὲ πέρατα γραμμαί .
