τὸν δ᾽ αὖτε προσέειπε μέγας κορυθαίολος Ἕκτωρ :
‘Αἶαν διογενὲς Τελαμώνιε κοίρανε λαῶν
μή τί μευ ἠΰτε παιδὸς ἀφαυροῦ πειρήτιζε
ἠὲ γυναικός , ἣ οὐκ οἶδεν πολεμήϊα ἔργα .
